Trying to install drivers for my ATI Radeon 2400 HD pro AGP card. Downloaded and ran Hotfix as suggested by Visiontek, but I only have 2 resolution options available, 800×600 or 1027×768 so its obviously not installing correct. Windows keeps automatically installing drivers before I can point the card to the catalyst drivers. I have disabled Windows automatic driver installation, but it still installs them anyway and says the best drivers are already installed. Running (and tired of ) Windows 7 pro.
How can I update the drivers if windows detects another driver as the better?

If you can’t find the right video drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
